• Paging File Note: The paging file (Virtual Memory) in X-Lite is set to a minimum to save disk space. If your PC has only 4 GB of RAM, we strongly recommend resetting the paging file to “System Managed” to ensure stability during heavy multitasking.

System Features of X-Lite Windows 10 Pro RU/EN

• Security Services Disabled: Not only are Defender and SmartScreen turned off, but the Firewall and UAC are also disabled. Disabling the Firewall significantly improves the experience for multiplayer online games (especially non-official versions) by removing connectivity barriers, though it reduces network security. If the PC is not primarily for gaming, it is recommended to either re-enable the system firewall or install a third-party alternative.
• Default Account: Administrator (Admin): Unlike standard Revision builds that offer a choice of username, this build defaults to the “Admin” account. While some prefer custom names, the Admin account provides maximum system control—a feature highly valued by system administrators and power users. Additionally, a “Take Ownership” option has been added to the context menu for folders and drives to further elevate user privileges.
• Classic Utilities: Includes the classic Windows Calculator and Photo Viewer. If you prefer the modern UWP Calculator, you can easily install it via the Microsoft Store.
• Edge Browser Removed: Microsoft Edge is absent. Users should use the included third-party browser installers or their preferred alternative. The removal of Edge is a common preference in international optimized builds.
• Custom Power Parameters: Hibernation is disabled. The build also features the author’s custom settings for monitor timeout and sleep transitions.
