The Game version is designed not only for peak gaming performance but also for user convenience. While many gaming builds (such as Windows 10 by SanLex) typically strip away the Microsoft Store and all live tiles while applying aggressive tweaks, we took a different approach. Our gaming configuration focuses on proven optimization settings and a moderate level of component removal.

How does the Game version differ from the “Full” version? Primarily, this edition further removes legacy components such as Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Remote Assistant, the Math Input Panel, and auxiliary text services. However, we have retained the same curated subset of live tiles found in our “Full” version, as we believe it is the most functional setup. Due to this additional stripping, the Game version has a smaller disk footprint than the Full edition.

Performance & Optimizations: To ensure the system operates at maximum efficiency—even on budget hardware—we have disabled several Windows security layers, including the Firewall, Windows Defender, and User Account Control (UAC). Furthermore, we have removed the Downfall and Meltdown vulnerability mitigations to reclaim CPU performance.

Removed Components

• Unnecessary ISO Files: Redundant files used for non-clean installations were removed to optimize the image for clean installs from USB drives.
• WinRE.wim: The Recovery Environment image was removed to save space, a standard practice in over 90% of custom builds.
• Select UWP/Tile Apps: Weather, Feedback Hub, Alarms, Camera, GetHelp, Solitaire Collection, Cortana, 3D Viewer, Office Hub, Xbox, Photos, Skype, People, and others. Note: Any removed app can be easily reinstalled via the integrated Microsoft Store. Removing these keeps the Start Menu clean and uncluttered.
• Legacy Internet Explorer: Removed as an obsolete and redundant component.
• Microsoft Edge: While the browser itself is removed, WebView2 is retained, so you won’t need to find and install it separately for apps that require it.
• Minor Microsoft Features: Steps Recorder, Remote Assistant, Spellcheck, Text Prediction, Cortana, and Math Input Panel. These are removed for both RU and EN versions. Corresponding Task Scheduler jobs were also deleted to prevent the system from re-downloading them. However, additional language components can still be restored via Language Settings.
• Note on Updates: This level of stripping is not critical and should not interfere with receiving future updates. (Note: Support for 22H2 officially ends in Fall 2025, after which cumulative updates will cease, though the system will remain functional).

Integrated Software (Installers Only)

• Yandex Browser: Included in the Russian version.
• Google Chrome: Included in the English version.

Performance & User Experience Tweaks

• Security Deactivation: UAC, Firewall, SmartScreen, Windows Defender, and CPU mitigations (Downfall, Meltdown/Spectre fixes) are disabled. This makes the system “unprotected” but significantly faster, which is typical for gaming builds. Disabling the Firewall specifically ensures online games aren’t blocked or hindered during startup.
• UI Enhancements: The interface includes proven tweaks approved by 99% of users: file extensions are shown by default, essential desktop icons are enabled, tray icons are always visible, and the “Shortcut to” prefix is removed.
• Deep Telemetry Removal: Significantly more telemetry is disabled compared to the “Full” version. Numerous Task Scheduler jobs related to app telemetry, performance diagnostics, and error reporting have been purged.
• Log Optimization: Most system logging is disabled. This not only enhances privacy but also extends the lifespan of your SSD by reducing unnecessary write operations.
• Automated Setup: Windows Update is set to manual mode, automatic driver installation is preserved, and the OS installation process is fully automated.

The Game Edition was built based on extensive user feedback and years of experience in OS optimization. It is a snappy, convenient, and reliable 22H2 build. Safety Verification: All ISO images undergo a rigorous virus scan before publication. The image is mounted via DISM, and all contents are scanned to ensure they are free of malicious files.
