Following Microsoft’s recent release of the May update, we have developed this up-to-date Super-Lite build based on Windows 11 23H2. We specifically chose this version for two reasons: first, it offers better compatibility compared to Windows 11 24H2; second, this is our first Super-Lite release for the 23H2 branch. The slimming process involved initial stripping using DISM, followed by the direct removal of components within reasonable limits. Simultaneously, the system was optimized with performance tweaks to ensure maximum comfort and speed. While Super-Lite builds are considered the most challenging to produce, they provide the most essential functionality without unnecessary overhead.

During the creation of this build, all marketing bloatware and numerous Windows components were immediately removed (refer to the component screenshots). Only the most requested features remain. Please note that the Windows Update Center is non-functional in this build. Additionally, Windows Defender, the Firewall, and UAC are disabled or removed to ensure a smooth, uninterrupted experience. The resulting system is quiet, fast, and lightweight. Despite the extensive “debloating,” we avoided high-risk settings, resulting in a stable build that performed flawlessly during software compatibility testing. Upon finishing the installation, the system applies final settings and automatically restarts; thereafter, you simply need to install your hardware drivers manually.

• Language & Updates: Integrated current updates and language packs, supporting both Russian and English interfaces.
• Legacy Compatibility: Enabled .NET Framework 3.5, DirectPlay, and SMB 1.0 to ensure compatibility with older software.
• Drivers: Full printer support and all original printer drivers are preserved. None of the standard Windows 11 built-in device drivers were removed.
• Classic Apps: Microsoft Store and all UWP (Tile) apps have been stripped. The modern Notepad, Calculator, and Photo Viewer are replaced with their Classic versions.
  • Note: You cannot reinstall the Store via the internet because it relies on the Windows Update service, which is removed/blocked in this build.
• Disabled Security: System protection (Defender, Firewall, UAC) is disabled or removed. This is ideal for gaming (including repacks), as it prevents network connection prompts. For security, it is recommended to use a lightweight third-party firewall.
• Stability: The Pagefile (Virtual Memory) remains untouched (not disabled). Unlike other lite builds that disable it and cause system crashes, this build avoids high-risk tweaks to ensure stability.
• Font Optimization: Removed various Asian fonts (Chinese, Korean, Thai, etc.) to save significant disk space.
• Component Removal: Features like WSL, Hyper-V, IIS, WCF, and various enterprise functionalities have been removed as they are rarely needed by average users.
• Recovery & Remote Access: The recovery system is preserved, though WinRe.wim was removed. Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop features remain intact for those who rely on them.
• Network & Privacy: No complex network “optimizations” are present. By removing bloatware, unnecessary background network activity is eliminated, improving privacy and security.
• Edge & WebView2: Microsoft Edge and its WebView2 platform are completely rooted out. If you use apps requiring WebView2, you may need to install it manually (untested). This build is designed for users of classic third-party software.
• Other Removals: Copilot was uninstalled via DISM. Also removed: IME, migwiz, Input Method, Advanced Threat Protection, Speech, Cortana, Game Explorer, WinSAT, and junk apps like “People.”

How to Take Screenshots in this Build

Because the standard Windows 11 “Snipping Tool” (which appears at the top of the screen) is disabled, pressing PrintScreen alone will result in an error.

• Use WIN + PrintScreen to take a screenshot (automatically saved to your Pictures folder).
• Use WIN + Alt + PrintScreen to capture the active window.

Additional Information

As original Windows 11 becomes increasingly heavy with redundant functions, this build offers a comfortable, time-saving environment by removing the clutter. The ISO may include browser installers and default Chrome settings, which can be customized post-installation. All builds are virus-scanned and verified via DISM before publication.

For gaming compatibility, we recommend installing the updated Runtimes (DirectX and VC++) using the included batch file on the desktop.
