Win 11 Pro 24H2 FPS by SanLex
The by Revision team has further optimized the popular Windows 11 Lightweight by SanLex build.
The “by Revision” team has further optimized the popular Windows 11 Lightweight by SanLex build. By removing Microsoft Edge and implementing additional performance tweaks, we present the Windows 11 Pro 24H2 Reduced Version—a fast, high-performance gaming OS designed for maximum FPS. Available for download via torrent or direct links.
This is a streamlined and optimized iteration of the latest Windows 11 Pro Lightweight by SanLex. Our primary motivation for “reducing” this build was the presence of Microsoft Edge. We view Edge as an intrusive, forced sub-system that has no place in a privacy-focused build, as it negatively impacts performance, resource efficiency, and user confidentiality. While SanLex likely retains it to maintain maximum Windows functionality, our approach was to root it out completely while applying further system-wide optimizations.
As builders, we hold SanLex’s releases in high regard due to his unique authorial solutions. For this experiment, we processed the image using our proprietary DISM script—similar to those used in our “by Revision” gaming builds. The result is an exceptional system with a significantly boosted FPS; benchmarks confirm that its performance is fully on par with Win 11 Atlas OS. Furthermore, it provides the highest level of privacy available for the new Windows 11 24H2. Extensive testing of the “Reduced” version has confirmed perfect stability and compatibility with a wide range of popular software and applications.

How the “Reduced” Version Was Created from SanLex’s Lightweight Build
- Edge Removal: Microsoft Edge has been completely removed. In builds of this caliber, there is no justification for keeping this browser.
- Optimization Script: The original build was processed with a custom script to further enhance gaming performance and privacy. While some settings might overlap with the original, our script is fully compatible with SanLex’s gaming configurations.
- Component Slimming: Additional seldom-used Windows components were removed, such as the legacy Windows Media Player, unnecessary text services, and the Math Input Panel. These removals do not interfere with the system’s ability to install future updates.
- “Clean” Scan Guarantee: We removed the “Restart Explorer” shortcut that previously triggered false positives in Avast. Although the shortcut was harmless, we wanted the build to be 100% clean and pass all antivirus checks flawlessly for user peace of mind.
- Enhanced Installer: The installer was replaced with a more compact version, along with a revised answer file for a faster, streamlined setup. A Local Account is created by default; you only need to enter a username/password. Note: Using a Microsoft account is not recommended for this build.
- Language Selection: RU and EN languages are provided as two separate editions within the ISO. We also included installers for Yandex and Chrome (manual installation required).
Key Features of the Original SanLex Configuration
- Bloatware Removal: OneDrive and all UWP “tiles” are removed. However, the Microsoft Store can be easily restored using the command
wsreset -i(must be run as Administrator). - Disabled Security Services: UAC is turned off, and there is no trace of Windows Defender or SmartScreen. Users can enjoy a lightweight system without these resource-heavy services.
- Cumulative Update Support: There is no “critical stripping” of the OS core, ensuring that cumulative updates can be received and installed without issues.
- Scheduled Tasks & Ads: Harmful scheduled tasks and intrusive Microsoft advertising have been disabled.
- Enabled Features: DirectPlay and .NET Framework 3.5 are enabled by default within Windows Features.
- Privacy: Telemetry blocking is set to the maximum level possible without breaking essential system functions.
Q&A
- Why is the April update not integrated? The May update is expected within days, which will supersede the current one. We decided not to bloat the image with updates that will become obsolete almost immediately. Users can manually check for updates via the Update Center.
- Which version was used as the base? The MD5 of the original source build is:
327eb83ad29bb96317ffc3e4f37e0917. - Is the “Reduced” version better than the original “Lightweight”? If you need Edge, stick with the original. If you want a more optimized, Edge-free experience with extra performance tweaks, this version is superior. The final verdict lies with the users.
Additional Information
The by Revision team credits all original authors and provides MD5 hashes to ensure transparency. Our goal is to take the best technologies—like those developed by SanLex—and refine them further. All builds undergo rigorous virus scanning via DISM to ensure all contents are malicious-free.
For full gaming compatibility, we recommend installing the updated Runtimes (DirectX and VC++) using the included batch file on the desktop.
