True to its “clean core” philosophy, IoT LTSC 25H2 has been stripped of Cortana, WebView2, telemetry, hibernation, spellcheck, and various background services. While Security Center, Defender, and UAC are disabled by default, users can easily restore Microsoft Edge and the Microsoft Store using the installers provided on the desktop. The interface has been reverted to a “classic” feel, featuring the familiar legacy context menu, the old calculator, notepad, and the classic photo viewer.
